Journal of Epidemiology and Global Health

The Journal of Epidemiology and Global Health (JEGH) is a new Elsevier journal focused on global epidemiology and international health with peer-reviewed articles focused on innovative scholarship and strategies to advance global health policy.

JEGH is particularly keen to receive submissions on epidemiological and public health aspects of tuberculosis, a disease of poverty that continues to account for significant morbidity and mortality. TB continues to be a major public health threat in most developing countries, with an estimated 8.7 million new cases in 2011, and an estimated 1.4 million deaths from TB.

JEGH welcomes submissions focused on implementation science, public health interventions, public-private partnerships, policy analyses, mathematical modeling, cost-effectiveness analyses, and field experiences from high burden countries.
